My Story

My name is Sara Linn and I am an animal communicator. I have always loved animals. I’ve spent my entire life around them: I grew up with many cats, dogs, lizards, guinea pigs, frogs, rats, and horses (see picture to the right); I showed horses in 4-H and was the president of my horse and pony club; I was a zookeeper in high school and spent my time taking care of all different kinds of exotic animals. It’s safe to say that animals are my passion.

When I was little and playing with my Barbies, I would always pretend that they could talk to animals. I remember swinging in my childhood backyard and daydreaming about being able to understand what my pets were thinking and feeling.

It wasn’t until my childhood dog communicated with me on her deathbed that I realized that I could, in fact, communicate with animals. My dog, Penny, spent 11 amazing years with me. She was there for me during my most challenging times: my parents’ divorce, college, my first “real” job, my first pregnancy, and postpartum with a very colicky baby. She got me through everything and was very close to my heart. Toward the end of her life she was very sick (heart failure, kidney failure, extreme arthritis, etc.). Thus, we made the difficult decision with our vet to put her down. While she and I were waiting in the patient room for the vet to bring back the medication, I started receiving images, words, and feelings that were very clearly not my own.

I quickly realized it was Penny communicating with me. She shared feelings of excitement to cross the “rainbow bridge” and see our other childhood dog, Sparky, again. She expressed love and gratitude toward me and my sisters. She told me how proud of me she was, and then she shared with me her dying wish: to help other animals communicate with their humans and get important messages across to both animals and humans. She wanted me to help foster deeper relationships, help animals and humans live in harmony, and help them to heal, all through communication.

I have spent every day since talking with animals: learning, growing, helping, changing, healing. It has become my new passion. I genuinely love chatting with animals, learning their stories, and sharing them with the world.
